At Forgotten Titles we pride ourselves on finding the books that may otherwise never reach the wider audience they deserve.
For years Len Smith, author of The Pictures and Diary of a Wartime Artist tried to get his book published. He was told, because of the number of colour illustrations, it would be too expensive. We published it first as an ebook and now the rights have been purchased by HarperCollins who will publish it as a hardback next year - under the title 'Drawing Fire'. Sadly Len will never see it.
We know how difficult it can be to approach large publishers but if you have a similar work which is gathering dust and which you think could be earning you money then we would like to hear from you.
Forgotten Titles Ltd was founded by Tim Barlass, a former news editor on a London newspaper who also worked as a journalist in Australia.
